Cancellations & Reschedules

I view our time together as very important. When a session is cancelled or rescheduled at short notice, or missed altogether, it is often too late to offer this time to another student/client who may be in need of an appointment.

  • Cancellation/Reschedule more than 24hrs notice –  no fee

  • Cancellation/Reschedule less than 24hrs notice –  100% of the session/lesson fee

  • Missed/forgotten appointment –  100% of the session/lesson fee

Health Fund Rebates

Rebates are available for individual and family counselling sessions. Please contact your health fund to confirm ‘Individual Counselling’ limits and inclusions relative to your level of cover. I hold provider numbers with the following funds:

Payment Terms

Credit Card payment is due at the completion of the session/lesson and is processed automatically via Halaxy. This involves storing your preferred card securely on digital file for seamless automated payments and invoicing (once entered the card number is encrypted and no longer visible to me other than the final four digits/expiry). I do not pass credit card fees onto my clients.

If a payment extension is required, I understand, please advise at the time of booking and together we will make a plan.

Privacy

I practice according to a Code of Ethics prescribed by the Australian Counselling Association. Confidentiality is assured and in accordance with Privacy Act 2000. All information disclosed to myself will be kept strictly confidential, except in the case of a court order, the disclosure of a serious criminal offence, or a life-threatening situation. 

Social Media Policy

In light of research concerning the detrimental effects of social media on the mental health of children and adults alike, I have consciously chosen to restrict my social media use. I provide educational information via Instagram and do not to keep any additional social media accounts.
